Now Playing Boléro

Boléro by Maurice Ravel
This was likely the most-played by myself piece before my 9th birthday. "Play" here means (1) with a cassette player; (2) role-play conducting it. Still remember I would like to stand on grandma's sofa and conducted my virtual orchestra. I particularly like the snare drums throughout the piece. In an annual performance of the children's choir that I once managed, we asked the kids to play that ostinato rhythm by pounding on anything and even paper! Great fun indeed.
